Dog Lounge Rules
For the comfort and happiness of our Shiba Inu crew, we kindly ask that you don’t bring your own dogs to the café. If you're just stopping by for a quick takeaway, however, you're more than welcome to bring them along! Our pups are full of personality and love interacting with visitors, but they can get a little frazzled with new furry friends in their space. To ensure a calm and joyful experience for everyone (including our four-legged stars!), we keep it a Shiba-only zone. Thanks for understanding!
Do’s
Supervise Children at All Times
If you're with little ones, please make sure they're gentle and follow the rules. If not, we may have to step in!
Respect the Shibas' Space
Our Shibas are the stars here! Let them come to you. If they want cuddles, they'll happily show you, but not every Shiba wants attention all the time.
Pat Gently on the Back, Sides and Under The Chin
Most Shiba Inus love a good scratch on their back, sides or under the chin. Avoid sensitive areas like their heads, belly or tail.
Let the Shibas Approach You
Shiba Inus love their independence. They may come and sniff or nuzzle you when they're feeling friendly-patience is key!
Feel Free to Take Photos and Videos (With The Flash Off)
Our Shibas are used to the paparazzi, but please keep the flash off to avoid startling them.
Donts
Don't Run After the Shibas
If a Shiba walks away, don't chase them-they need their space.
Don't Pick Up The Shiba Inus
Even though they're adorable, most Shiba Inus don't enjoy being lifted up.
No Loud Noises or Shouting
Shiba Inus are sensitive to loud sounds, so let's keep our voices soft.
Avoid Sudden Movements
Sudden actions can startle our Shibas. Move slowly and gently to keep them feeling safe.
Don't Disturb Sleeping Shibas
If a Shiba Inu is napping, please let them snooze. A tired Shiba needs their beauty sleep!
No Pulling Tails, Ears or Fur
Pulling on any part of a Shiba can hurt them.
Watch Your Food!
Please avoid bringing in food and feeding our Shibas. Certain foods, like chocolate, can make them very sick.
